Every costume tells a story of uniqueness, precision, and artistic expression.
Hi, I’m Melanie! It’s good to see you here.
Sew Some More is a legacy of passion, resourcefulness, and the art of creation passed down through generations.
My journey began when my Mum, faced with the challenge of limited resources and a love for dance, started crafting her own costumes. My Nan didn't sew and money was tight, so mum embraced the needle and thread bringing her visions to life. This tradition continued as she stitched every childhood dance costume for me, igniting the flame of creativity in our family.
The bug of sewing and designing didn't stop there; it was passed on to me. What started as creating adorable baby clothes for friends' little ones evolved when a friend asked for a custom leotard. Sew Some More was born – a tribute to the rich tapestry of familial creativity and a dedication to providing uniquely crafted dancewear.
Every stitch tells a story, and with Sew Some More, you become part of a narrative woven with love, passion, and the joy of creating something truly special.
Driven by my love of sewing and an innate desire to bring visions to life, I founded Sew Some More.
My dedication to crafting one-of-a-kind designs stems from a belief in the power of individuality.
Whether it's a dance costume or a unique piece created for someone's special moment, I thrive on the art of making dreams tangible.
Meet the force behind Sew Some More ! I am a seasoned dancer and professional since 2006. With a dance career that has taken me to captivating stages around the globe, including some of the world's most incredible places, I am still a performer, bringing dynamic energy to the forefront. In addition to my prowess on the dance floor, I am an accomplished stilt walker, gymnast, an aerialist, and a fire performer.
Beyond the spotlight, I find joy in the art of renovation, a passion reflected by my ability to transform houses into homes. Balancing pirouettes with paintbrushes, I embraces the dual worlds of dance and design with unwavering enthusiasm.
In addition to my successful dance career and Sew Some More, I am also a dedicated dance educator. I share my wealth of knowledge and passion for the art at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts, nurturing the next generation of performers with my expertise and infectious love for dance.
